Here’s the quote from the Sporting News:

Moreno also hinted to the newspaper that free agent DH Vladimir Guerrero will play elsewhere in 2010. “We’ve talked to his agent just recently,” Moreno said. “We talked to his agent two years ago. We could never get close enough.”

Can you say Garrett Anderson? Does it seem like to you that owner Arte Moreno is the type of owner that will overpay an older player who’s best years are behind him?
